Diane is a landscape painter inspired by deep connections with the natural world. Her images focus on light, water, and movement in many forms and she works primarily in watercolor, acrylic, monotype, ink, and charcoal.
Her paintings have been featured in solo shows at Gladstone in Manchester by the Sea, Chandler Gallery, and the Paul Dietrich Gallery. Her work is in numerous private collections and has also been exhibited in juried shows including Concord Art, the Danforth Museum, Gallery Twist, New England Biolabs, Half Crown Design, and Sothebys in Damariscotta, Maine.
Diane earned her Master of Architecture, Bachelor of Fine Arts in Painting, and Bachelor of Arts from the University of Pennsylvania. She started painting in college in an intensive art program led by Neil Welliver. After practicing as an architect for over 20 years, she attended Boston’s School of the Museum of Fine Arts. She joined Miller Street in 2008.
