About the Artist:
Raja is a concept-driven artist exploring the layered realities and histories of human migration and the weight of memory. As someone who constantly contends with the border in literal and metaphorical ways, she resists any boundaries in her studio. She chooses materials intuitively, experimenting to create artwork following a vision while always remaining rooted in a truth drawn from her lived experience.
Raja is represented by Portrait Society Gallery in Milwaukee and is part of the Boston Sculptor's Gallery.
